One step closer to being listed on the transplant list again. Got the clear from my cardiologist for my parathyroid removal, that’s coming up in a couple months. Have my annual appointment scheduled. Then it is the second round of appointments with my transplant team as well as an ultrasound and a ct scan. I’m not cleared by my cardiologist until at this point November to be listed as active on the transplant list but I can be listed as inactive and look for potential living donors.

Realized I’m drinking too much dark soda. Phosphorus in the soda, my body cannot remove. As much as I love my Coke, I must say goodbye to it. Switch to Mountain Dew and my phosphorus has already come down by 2 points! Not only that but my Jesse Skindelien changed to not dark sodas so I can have some when I don’t have a drink around! So lucky! ❤️

This is one of the hardest things to write about. It is still very hard to talk about. I don't fully understand all the whys, the hows, really I don't fully understand any of it and now I don't remember all of it. I lost my transplanted kidney at the end of September 2024. It's been over a year and I am still processing. I think it's because of all the what ifs, the could have beens, but I think the biggest issue is not knowing the full reason why. The full story of what happened and why I lost my kidney. I am working on writing up what happened and will post it soon.
