As Mental Health Awareness Month comes to a close, we're reminded why Moodr Health exists: to help ensure people have access to timely, compassionate behavioral health support when they need it most.

While May shines a spotlight on mental health, the need for awareness, support, and access continues year-round. Every day, we work alongside healthcare organizations, care teams, and communities to help identify needs earlier, strengthen connections to care, and support better outcomes.

Mental health matters every month, and we're grateful to be part of the work to make care more accessible for all. 💚

The Moodr Health team had a busy (and meaningful) week!

Last week, Jim Murray was in Richmond, VA for the Research to Recovery Conference hosted by the Rams in Recovery- VCU program. This event was centered around whole-person wellness, recovery, and evidence-based care.

At the same time, Michelle Hopkins was in Charleston, WV at the Vandalia Health Network Conference: Transforming Care Together, connecting with partners and leaders dedicated to improving care across our communities.

Two different events, one shared mission: making behavioral health support more accessible, proactive, and connected. 💚

We’re grateful to be part of these important conversations!

This Saturday is especially meaningful to us 💚

Moodr Health is honored to be the presenting sponsor of The Derby, supporting Mon Health’s P3 (Progressing Through Postpartum) Program, the place where Moodr first began.

P3 is more than a partner. It’s where our platform was first built and used to support real moms and families across our community.

The program provides:
💚 Prenatal & postpartum care
💚 Mental health screenings and follow-up
💚 Lactation support & education
💚 Counseling, support groups, and community resources
💚 Compassionate care through every stage, including loss

Through the collaboration between P3 and our co-founders, Moodr grew from an idea into a real, impactful solution.

We’re especially grateful for Jennifer Bender, a Perinatal Nurse Navigator with the P3 Program, who has been part of this journey from day one. She helped shape the earliest version of Moodr and was the first clinician to use it with patients...work she continues today.

As we continue expanding our work across rural Appalachia, including through initiatives like the Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP), partnerships like P3 reflect exactly why we do what we do. Supporting the organizations caring for high-risk and underserved populations.

We’re proud to be part of this ride 💚

If you’re able, we’d love for you to join us or support the cause.

Cybersecurity isn’t a “nice to have” in healthcare. It’s essential.

In this clip from our latest Early Innovators Podcast, Jennifer Wendell, former CIO at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, shares an important reminder:

🚩 If cybersecurity isn’t part of the conversation when evaluating a solution, that’s a major red flag.

She also highlights:
👉 The importance of staying informed and continuously learning
👉 Why organizations need to look beyond the “shiny object”
👉 The need to ask tough questions before adopting new technology

Because protecting patient data and systems has to come first.

Rural healthcare organizations are doing everything they can just to keep up.

In this clip from our latest Early Innovators Podcast, Avery Muse (Founder & CEO of The Muse Group) talks about a major challenge:

👉 Many rural communities are focused on immediate needs like patient care and daily operations
👉 That makes it incredibly difficult to navigate complex federal programs like the Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP)

💬 The solution? Acting as a “translator” between:
• Federal expectations
• State implementation
• Real-world ex*****on

Because real change happens when strategy meets reality.

Funding doesn’t transform rural healthcare. Ex*****on does.

The Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP) is a major investment in the future of care, but real impact comes from how that funding is put into action.

At Moodr Health, we support organizations every step of the way:

👉 Identifying and aligning with RHTP priorities
👉 Strengthening funding applications
👉 Implementing scalable, tech-enabled solutions

Because better outcomes don’t happen by chance. They are built through intentional ex*****on.

We’re proud to share this perspective from our Co-founder, Arya Satish, on a pivotal moment for rural healthcare.

The $50B Rural Health Transformation Program isn’t just funding, it’s a call to rethink how care is delivered, especially in the spaces between visits where outcomes are truly shaped.

From behavioral health to maternal care, SUD response, and workforce sustainability, the opportunity is massive...but so is the urgency.

At Moodr Health, we’re helping organizations turn strategy into action with proactive, tech-enabled patient engagement that doesn’t add workforce burden.

The next 6 months will define what comes next.

The Rural Health Transformation Program is the largest federal investment in rural healthcare in American history. But, as so many of us working in healthcare have seen time and time again, funding alone doesn't transform anything without deep partnerships to implement and execute proposed initiativ

👉 The big question: how do we turn that funding into real outcomes?

💬 “When decisions are made from a distance, they miss the mark.”

This episode explores:
✔ The gap between policy and real-world ex*****on
