Please help me in congratulating Jessie George, RN as our "Oh Great One" for the month of September.
Jessie is our Infectious Control and Wound Care Nurse but has worn several hats throughout her years here at Sanders Ridge.
She always goes above and beyond for her residents, co-workers and campus even if it means walking miles in the snow!
We are honored to have her here at our campus!!!

Linda’s “Never Too Late to Dream” day brought her back to the Kroger bakery in Bardstown, where she spent years decorating cakes for birthdays, weddings, showers and other special occasions. 🍰
With support from Kroger’s assistant manager Elsa, Linda picked up her decorating tools and added special designs using her right hand as she has limited use of her left hand. Seeing her return to a place filled with memories and share her skills once again made the day unforgettable.

Friday was an incredibly special day at Sanders Ridge. We got to grant two live a dreams for Its Never Too Late to Dream Day. Our day started at Spencer County Elementary School, where Nancy was the first librarian when the school opened. When we walked in the door Nancy was greeted with balloons and a shirt by the current principal, her past students, her grandson, and former coworkers. It was not only an amazing reunion, but an exciting trip down memory lane. Nancy got a full tour of the school, including joining the library class, music class, and gym class. She loved seeing the familiar areas of the school along with the new improvements since she retired. Thank you to everyone who played a part in this extraordinary visit.
