📬 Watch for Your Medicare Annual Notice of Change (ANOC)!
If you have a Medicare Advantage or Medicare Part D plan, keep an eye on your mailbox this September. Your plan will send you an Annual Notice of Change (ANOC) explaining important changes coming January 1.
🔎 What should you look for?
• Premiums, deductibles and copays
• Changes to your medical benefits
• Changes to dental, vision or other extra benefits
• Prescription drug coverage and drug tiers
• Changes to doctors, hospitals and provider networks
💡 Why is it important?
Your current plan may change from one year to the next. Take a few minutes to review your ANOC and make sure your plan still meets your needs and budget.
📅 Annual Enrollment Period (AEP)
October 15 – December 7
If you decide your current plan isn't the right fit for next year, AEP is the time to review your options and make a change.
Have employer or retiree prescription coverage?
If you have prescription drug coverage through an employer or union after turning 65, watch for your annual **Creditable Coverage Notice**. This notice tells you whether your prescription coverage meets Medicare's Part D creditable-coverage standard. Keep this notice with your important Medicare paperwork.
❤️ Don't toss that September Medicare mail!
Your ANOC can help you make an informed decision about your coverage for the coming year.
*Questions about your Medicare options? I'm happy to help you understand what your notice means and what to look for.
*On October 1st, I can calculate your prescription drug costs and see if medications are on formulary for your current plan and compare with other plans per your request.
