Muskegon, meet Dominic!

You may have seen him around downtown over the last few days selling pops and candy to help raise money for his mom’s car repairs.

Unfortunately, just as he was wrapping up yesterday, a group of kids stole all of the money he had earned that day.

Today, Dominic stopped by Rake and sold me some candy (and anyone who knows me knows I’m a sucker for candy 😂). As we talked, he shared what he was working toward and what had happened yesterday. Hearing his story, we knew we wanted to help.

So today, Dominic will be set up here at Rake until around 6–7 PM, and we’re hoping our amazing Muskegon community can help us sell him completely out of snacks and candy!

Let’s help turn a tough situation into something positive. Come grab a snack, show Dominic some encouragement, and support a young man who is working hard to help his family get their car back on the road.

Muskegon has always been a community that shows up for its own, and we know Dominic could use that support today.
