Quality of life IS a healthcare outcome. 🌿 New research examining CBD + THC in people living with late-stage dementia found decreased agitation, with participants described as awake, alert, more comfortable, and less agitated—and caregivers experienced improvements in quality of life too. Cannabis isn’t a cure for dementia, but this is why I believe it deserves a place in conversations about comfort, dignity, presence, and what it means to truly care for the whole person.

Cannabis doesn’t have to BE the practice—it can be a tool within a much more expansive holistic practice. Inside The High Aligned Tribe, I’m supporting people who want to become holistic practitioners and explore how cannabis can exist alongside intuition, plant medicine, energy work, advocacy, and other approaches to healing. Today, I planted a 36-year-old peace lily.

This plant came from my grandfather’s funeral. For 36 years, it has been cared for, carried forward, and kept alive.

And today, I put its roots into the earth.

I think this is what legacy looks like.

Not only what we leave behind, but what others choose to keep alive.

A story.
A memory.
A lesson.
A tradition.
A plant that once represented loss, still growing decades later.

Death ended my grandfather’s physical life, but it didn’t end everything connected to him.

Some things keep growing. 🌱

Maybe that’s the beautiful thing about legacy—
we don’t have to live forever for something of us to remain.

Three Ps of Healing Framework
People- who surrounds your? Who co-regulates your nervous system? Who consistently honors your nervous system?

Places- what environments shape your beliefs, opportunities and sense of safety

Possessions/ Purposeful Things- Do the things you own support your life or do they demand more energy?

Healing is a journey not a destination. As I work with patients who are confronting mortality I bring the lessons to support a life worth living 💜
