Our first Community Spotlight Activity Day at the Front Porch Cafe in Nags Head “Brewing Good in our Community.”We had 34 rocks painted. The rocks have been sprayed to seal the paint and will be hidden in secret locations around the Outer Banks. If you find one we hope it brings you joy and a smile to your face! Thank you Laura Davis for spearheading this project to raise awareness.

We are honored to have been selected as the Non-Profit Organization to be featured in the Front Porch Cafe’s new Community Spotlight Initiative during September. Lots of information about Community Care Clinic of Dare Services is available along with application forms.
Come join us on Saturday, between 9a-11a, for a rock painting activity at the Nags Head location.
You can take your masterpiece home or hide it somewhere on Outer Banks for someone to find.

So excited to have been able to get schedules aligned to pull this off! We are thrilled to have Chef Wes and Red Sky Catering Outer Banks catering our Billfish Tournament Captain’s Dinner. Chef Wes is certainly a force to be reckoned with and who knows what surprises he has in store for us. Lunch at NC Coast Grill & Bar was pretty amazing.

Every Billfish Tournament requires planning. So this afternoon Board Member John Graham and Lyn Jenkins took a trip up to Duck to talk and record a video about our fundraiser with the one and only Wes Stepp. Love the sunflowers in the background.

The bidding has started for our Billfish Tournament Auction items and we continue to add items daily. The tournament and auction on September 11/12 is a major fundraiser forCommunity Care Clinic of Dare. Every $1.00 we raise allows us to provide $6.52 in equivilent
value of care. 62, mostly local businesses, have supported our auction and we are so grateful to them for their generosity.
