Did You Know in 1980, Mary Kay became one of the first cosmetics companies to utilize solar energy in the manufacturing process?

Thirty solar panels were installed on top of our manufacturing facility to collect heat from the sun’s rays. That energy was used to heat 3,000 gallons of city water for use in the manufacturing facility each day.

Since 2014, the Mary Kay world headquarters and global manufacturing facility are powered by 100 percent renewable energy.

Mary Kay has driven sustainable business practices for decades and we continue to make sustainability a priority as we work toward achieving our sustainability commitments.
