It's a very popular and sought after stone and for good reason. Amethyst is regarded highly for its ability to lower stress levels, assist in balancing mood swings, and alleviating fear and anxiety. ⚖️

It has strong cleansing powers and assists with growing your psychic and spiritual awareness.

We have PLENTY of amethyst placed in our workshop and homes. We also like to wear it in jewelry form when we are out and about.

The past, the present, the future.

The existence of all three makes it hard to truly be present.

Is it just us or does it feel like the root of all sadness, stress and anxiety is rooted from either the past or the future?

Think for a second about where you are. Your surroundings, the people near you, the smells in the air, the sounds you hear. All of those things make up your present moment and as you observe them, what else matters?

Being mindful in the present is truly liberating. It gives us the ability to shake off the worries that follow out focus on the past and future.

For us it's always changing. It's almost always a crystal and in the present moment it is a large Celestite geode.

Celestite is our go-to crystal when we want an extra boost to our connection with our angels. 👼

When we move our altar around next, we'll have a new favorite.

It's hard work but developing your ability to say no to projects, gatherings, and opportunities is a skill that is well worth mastering.

The bourdon that over commiting ourselves holds on our energy is detrimental and is a major cause for un-needed stress in our lives.

The last thing we want to do is let anybody down by needing to cancel our involvement in something after saying yes.

Self care is often brushed over and we are all guilty of over committing our time and energy.

Remember, check in with yourself energetically, check your calendars, and think to yourself "is this something I can truly manage right now?" before saying yes.

Also remember, if it's too much to take, it's okay to cancel plans to prioritize your spiritual and mental health.

The holidays are a very special time this year. With so much chaos and uncertainty, it can be hard to look past it and be positive. 🌍

Some people feel cheered during the holidays while lots feel pain. The idea of days off and celebration excites so many while the impact of loss weighs heavier than normal for those who have experienced it. 🏋️‍♂️

Let's remember that there are always two sides to the coin. If somebody isn't as excited to hear "Happy Thanksgiving!!" or "Merry Christmas!!!" as you are, try and move on with a smile and empathy instead of reflecting the reaction back at them. 💌

We try and start all of our days with morning mindfulness and intention setting using our crystal intention candles. The one in the photo is our 'PEACE' candle that is scented with Lavender & Peppermint essential oils and charged with the Rainbow Flourite resting at the bottom. 🔮

As the year nears its end, we can't help but think about what we've been through to get here.

Who is beside us, who is looking over us, and who must go? This type of reflection doesn't happen as often as it should on our end but we strive to honor these facts often because they make up who and why we are.

How often do you dive deep and honor those that are with you, those you have lost, and those that are no longer serving you?

The tides are constantly shifting. Lessons previously learned evolve into new challenges only to be learned again in a new way.⁠

It took so much work to get to where we are today but that doesn't mean we are finished. Tomorrow is a new day and we must continue down the path of growth and reflection. If we don't, the things that taught us what we know can catch up to us only to hold us back once again.⁠
⁠
In our meditations, these lessons seem to always pop up to remind us why certain things had to happen to bring us to where we are today. ⁠
⁠
