Planning to ramp up outdoor training this season? Don't skip the assessment phase. 🙅‍♂️

Most breakdowns happen when volume increases faster than capacity can adapt. Test these three areas first: ankle dorsiflexion in a loaded position, hip internal rotation on both sides, and thoracic rotation without compensation.

If any of these are limited, your body will find the movement somewhere else, usually in a joint that isn't built to handle it. Fix the restriction before adding the load. ⚠️

Stiffness after sitting isn't a flexibility problem. It's a nervous system problem. 🧠

When you've been static for hours, the body loses access to the ranges it's not using. Stretching harder won't fix it. Movement variability will. 🔄

Here's what to do:
• Stand and shift weight side to side.
• Rotate your spine in both directions.
• Move your hips through circles, not just forward folds.
• Walk for two minutes before jumping into your workout.

Your body needs input, not force. Give it options, and it'll open up. 💪

Tension headaches often start in your neck and shoulders, not your head. 🧠

✔️ Release the overworked muscles with this simple self-care sequence:
✔️ Upper trap release: Tilt your head to one side and gently pull with your hand. Hold 30 seconds each side.
✔️ Scalene stretch: Look up and rotate away. Hold 30 seconds on each side.
✔️ Suboccipital release: Lie on your back with a lacrosse ball at the base of your skull. Nod your head gently.

Repeat daily, especially during high-stress periods.
