Heart disease remains the leading cause of death for women in the U.S., yet many women at risk may have no known history of cardiovascular disease.

Recent research highlighted by Radiology Business found that many women with breast arterial calcifications (BAC) identified on mammograms had no prior diagnosis of cardiovascular disease—creating an opportunity for earlier risk assessment and intervention.

Through Onsite’s Mammo with heart program, routine screening mammograms can do more than detect breast cancer—they can help identify BAC, a potential marker of cardiovascular disease risk.

Powered by FDA-cleared AI technology from CureMetrix, the program delivers valuable heart health insights during an exam many women are already receiving, helping support earlier risk identification and more informed care decisions.

Expanding access to breast health and imaging services begins with strong partnerships.

We're proud to highlight affiliate West End Ob-Gyn in Richmond, Virginia, which recently celebrated a successful mammography installation. Bringing breast imaging services into a practice requires collaboration among many teams working toward a shared goal: making high-quality breast care more accessible to patients.

“Access is one of the most important factors in early detection,” shares Stephanie Wayne, Market VP at Onsite Women’s Health. “By bringing mammography services directly into the practice setting, we're helping remove barriers to care and making it more convenient for women to stay on track with recommended screenings.”

This National Cancer Survivors Day®—a day to recognize cancer survivors and celebrate life—we honor our patients and survivors who have faced the challenges of this disease.

Breast cancer is the most common cancer in women in the United States, except for skin cancers, according the American Cancer Society. It accounts for approximately 30% (or 1 in 3) of all new female cancers each year, and is significantly impacted by early detection through screening mammograms, which improves survival rates.

🎉 Join us as we celebrate life and raise awareness of the importance of early detection, and tag a survivor who inspires you!

At Onsite Women’s Health, our commitment to breast cancer awareness extends far beyond the workplace. Through our 'Teammates Taking Action Against Breast Cancer' initiative, we're proud to recognize teammates who are making a difference in their communities and helping advance the fight against breast cancer.

Today, we're shining a spotlight on Robin Kenney, operations director at Onsite, for her extraordinary dedication to raising awareness and support for those impacted by breast cancer.

On August 2, Robin will begin the Hoka Hey Motorcycle Challenge (Official) in Woodstock, Illinois—an 11,000-mile journey across America that tests riders' endurance, resilience and determination. With no GPS, no hotels and only line-by-line directions provided on the morning of the ride, participants travel exclusively on secondary roads and sleep alongside their motorcycles each night.

Selected as one of only 100 new participants, Robin's goal is to complete the challenge in just 14 days. She is dedicating her ride to Unity Outreach of St. Augustine, Florida, an organization that supports individuals in her community affected by breast cancer.

“This ride is more than a personal challenge—it’s a way to give back and raise awareness for those fighting battles far greater than mine," shares Robin.

Join us in cheering Robin on as she embarks on this incredible adventure fueled by purpose, perseverance and heart.

❤️More women in Knoxville, Tennessee, now have access to an innovative new layer of preventive care during their routine mammogram.

This week, we’re proud to launch Mammo with heart at affiliate Fort Sanders Ob Gyn Group—a great example of what’s possible when partners come together to help save more lives through early detection and preventive care.

Onsite's Mammo with heart program is an innovative, AI-enabled program that identifies breast arterial calcifications (BAC) during routine screening mammograms.

“We’re excited to bring leading-edge technology like Mammo with heart to the women of Knoxville and surrounding communities,” shares Gina Hindman, mammography technologist at Fort Sanders OBGYN’s West Office. “By expanding what a routine mammogram can reveal, we’re helping our patients and their care teams gain meaningful insight into both breast and heart health—supporting earlier awareness and more informed conversations about preventive care.”
