on NewsChannel 5+: Jillian Wright, chief executive officer of Onsite Women’s Health, and April Douglas, executive director of Susan G. Komen (Tennessee), joined Nick Beres Media to discuss the importance of early detection and the Greater Nashville MORE THAN PINK Walk ahead of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

“One in eight women in the U.S. will develop breast cancer at some point in her life,” shared Jillian, who is serving as this year’s Executive Leadership Chair for Susan G. Komen’s Greater Nashville MORE THAN PINK Walk. “Annual screening mammography beginning at age 40 is proven to save the most lives. Since 1989, breast cancer mortality has declined by 44%—a remarkable achievement driven by earlier detection, advances in treatment, increased awareness and the work of organizations like Susan G. Komen to fund critical research, education and access to care."

“Receiving the Onsite Hero Award reminded me that no matter how small an action may seem, everyone plays a role in a patient’s experience and care.”

For Onsite Hero Danitza Garcia Mendez, that reminder reflects the important role every teammate plays in supporting early detection.

Today, we’re celebrating Danitza, a patient scheduler, and mammography technologist Adrian Brady—two Onsite Heroes at affiliate Augusta Health OB/GYN in Harrisonburg, Virginia—whose dedication helped lead to a breast cancer detection that ultimately saved a life.

“It was an incredible feeling to know that what we do makes a difference,” shares Danitza. “I’m honored to be part of a team that positively impacts women’s lives every day.”

Our Onsite Hero Program recognizes the schedulers and technologists whose efforts contribute to a breast cancer detection—celebrating the teamwork behind every mammogram and the impact it can have.

🎉Please join us in congratulating Adrian and Danitza—and all Onsite Heroes—on this well-deserved recognition!

Yesterday, Tennessee—and the world—lost an icon. 🤍

Dolly Parton showed generations of women what it looked like to be bold, brilliant, compassionate and completely yourself.

Beyond the rhinestones and remarkable music was a woman whose generosity changed lives and whose love for her Tennessee roots never wavered.

As a women’s health organization headquartered in Nashville, we find it especially meaningful to honor a woman who so proudly represented Tennessee and whose impact reached far beyond our state.

Dolly made Tennessee proud, inspired generations of women and made the world a little brighter.

Her light lives on. 🦋

Advancing women’s breast health starts with bringing innovation closer to the patients who need it most.

This weekend, Onsite Women’s Health’s Business Development team is proud to join OB-GYN physicians and leaders at the Georgia OBGyn Society's 75th Annual Educational Meeting in Sea Island, Georgia.

The meeting provides an opportunity to learn from clinical experts, explore emerging technologies through hands-on simulation and engage in meaningful conversations about the future of women’s health.

“These conferences are invaluable because they give physicians the opportunity to learn about technologies that can make a meaningful difference in their practices and for their patients,” says Stacey Wick, regional development manager at Onsite Women’s Health. “Bringing 3D screening mammography directly into the practice can help expand access to advanced breast screening and better serve the women in their communities.”

➡ If you’re attending GOGS, we’d love to connect! Stop by to learn how Onsite partners with practices to expand access to comprehensive, in-office breast imaging and deliver a more convenient experience for patients.

Onsite Women’s Health is proud to volunteer and raise awareness for the 30th Annual Tennessee Breast Cancer Coalition (TBCC) Celebration of Life Golf Classic in Nashville, Tennessee. For three decades, this event has raised critical funds for Tennesseans undergoing active breast cancer treatment and facing financial hardship—helping individuals and families stay in their homes, keep their utilities on and meet other essential needs during an incredibly difficult time.

“Supporting organizations like the Tennessee Breast Cancer Coalition is a natural extension of the work we do every day at Onsite,” shares Mimi Shackelford, business development representative at Onsite Women’s Health. “We’re proud to champion the Celebration of Life Golf Classic and the meaningful assistance it provides to Tennesseans during their breast cancer journey.”

🎉Congratulations to TBCC on 30 years of making an impact for individuals and families affected by breast cancer. We’re honored to be part of this milestone event and help advance this important work across Tennessee and beyond.
