It's National World Mental Health day! I'm taking a moment to honor those who are taking the actions to navigate grief and loss. It's not easy work, but it's necessary work.
I wrote a book about navigating my own love, loss and healing. And tbh, I'm still learning from my own work/ words as I help others with their own journeys. . .
Thank you to those of you who show up to the love, loss and healing call biweekly where we share parts of our individual stories to grow collectively!

Privilege for breath and breathing
Oxygen and air

That I often take for granted

My final giving and receiving.

Privilege for life and living
Alive and well
And if not well, healing
Striving and continuing

Privilege for song and singing
Sounds of love
From my own voice
And the others that care to share
A story to set you free from bo***ge

Privilege for who I am
And who I have yet to become
On a journey of destinations not yet found
But finding me in the midst
