This is the second day in 3 weeks or so that I have seen at least one of them. This was the 3rd time I saw it on this particular afternoon. It had been hanging out near my truck earlier while I was off on the mower.

It’s Muddy Monday and there’s always something growing from the dirt. One of nature’s simplest pleasures for me is actively watching food grow. Today I observed that with this pear tree.

It’s Fur Baby Friday and this is more footage from John’s interview with Possum Mike and Rosie at the Bledsoe Creek State Park Nature Fair back in March. John Winters is the Former Board Chair for humaNature Connection and husband to the founder and CEO Trina Winters. John is also very involved with the social media efforts for hNC.

I watched for a few seconds to see if MAYBE the insect in the web would escape. There was no such luck. I wonder just how long the spider will take to eat something that size? I will take another look tomorrow.
