I want to make something really clear.

If you find yourself in labor, sitting in a hospital room, planning a c-section out of nowhere, navigating an induction you never expected or laboring at home wondering what the hell to do next, or just feeling scared and overwhelmed… you can text me. I do not care if you hired me. I do not care if we’ve never spoken before. I do not care if you live across the country. If you need someone who understands birth and can help you process what’s happening in the moment, reach out.

Text me. Call me. Just reach out.

Yes, doula work is part of my livelihood, but it’s also something I genuinely love with my whole heart. I love supporting women. I love educating, empowering, advocating, and helping moms feel less alone during some of the biggest moments of their lives.

This is not me offering full doula services for free because this is not the same level of commitment and bond, but if you’re suddenly being induced for preeclampsia at 38 weeks and spiraling because you weren’t prepared for this… text me. If you’re in labor and struggling and need someone to explain options or talk things through with you… text me. If something traumatic happened during your birth and you need someone safe to unpack it with afterward… text me.

I’ve had so many women tell me, “I wish I had you there,” or “I felt pressured into decisions and didn’t know who to talk to.” And honestly?

I cannot even imagine responding with, “Sorry, but you didn’t hire me.”

If I can help you, I will. That’s it. 🤍

Encapsulated this mamas placenta for the second time!
I love doing this for moms, but there’s something extra special about being asked to do it twice!!

Shout out to my parents this week!
They have been together 34 years, and after raising 3 girls themselves, they now have 6 granddaughters to love on and spoil!

My. mom retired a couple years ago, not long after we moved to NC, and has been full time grandma! I can literally count on ONE hand the amount of times she has not been able to help me out when I asked.
My dad retired about 6 months ago, and has also jumped feet first into grandpaw being available anytime we need it!

So grateful to have them in our corner, and so close and willing to help anytime we need! It has been so great knowing that my girls will have you guys!

Thank you for all that you do! Excited to think about what Connor and I will look like after 34 years together!

Did you know that on average, I will get 85-100 capsules in any given placenta? Just shy of 100 is my average, but lately I have had the teeniest, tiniest placentas! And lots of little babies too 😍

I love guessing to the parents, the size of baby, based on the size of their placenta. i had 3 50-63 void capsule packages last night, all with itty bitty 6lb babies!

Did you have your placenta encapsulated? How many capsules were you able to get out of yours?

I love packaging up each of these gifts for moms. I've had the same font materials for years, and still find them so beautiful! I remember obsessing over colors and fonts when I first created this, and I'm happy to say that even still, 7 years later, I am just as happy as I was the day I picked it out!

Does anyone "revamp" their business every...so many years? Or have you stayed in love with your original creation?

Hello there,

heres my quarterly family update. Maybe you are new here, or maybe you've been following along for a while.

I'm Jackie, mother of five beautiful little girls, and wife to a man who would move mountains for us. We have been lucky enough to travel the world, and have most recently found ourselves in North Carolina.

You may have caught me in the past supporting women in labor, cheering them on as they rock their hospital births. Maybe you've seen me assisting local midwives during home births as a birth assistant. Or maybe I've been lucky enough to create beautiful keepsakes of your little one's placenta.

I love supporting moms in labor - whatever birth might look like for them! First time moms, 4th time moms, VBACs, medicated, unmedicated, planned cesarean, surprise cesarean! Healthy, and empowered moms are the goal!

my favorite part of encapsulation is making these beautiful keepsakes! The classic "heart" is my go to for every mom! I hope they love them as much as I love making them!
