You found a tick attached to you — don’t throw it away. 🕷️
Knowing what to do after a tick bite can help guide your next steps.
✔️ Remove the tick carefully and save it
✔️ Document when and where the exposure may have occurred
✔️ Consider tick identification and testing
✔️ Talk with a provider knowledgeable about tick-borne illness
✔️ Don’t assume you need to wait for symptoms before asking what to do
Remember, not everyone with Lyme disease develops the classic bull’s-eye rash, and ticks can transmit pathogens other than Lyme.
🌿 At Rise Wellness, we evaluate and treat tick bites in both adults and children. If you’ve recently had a tick bite and aren’t sure what to do next, our team can help assess the bite and discuss appropriate next steps.
