When life feels chaotic, my training schedule is one anchor I have, and I try to cling to it.

That sense of personal autonomy and agency is clinically proven to lower psychological distress. Control the controllables.

Prioritize your gym schedule or your sleep schedule first, then once that's consistent, add in prioritizing the other. It will be a GAME CHANGER.

In weight lifting I spend a LOT of time focused on my Mind-Muscle connection.
The mind-muscle connection is the ability to consciously focus your attention on a specific muscle or muscle group while performing an exercise.
Instead of mindlessly going through the motions, you intentionally visualize and feel the muscle contracting and stretching, which increases muscle fiber recruitment and maximizes your workout efficiency.

For , the gym has become a moving meditation.
In a world full of noise, channeling all my focus into a single barbell movement forces total mindfulness.
The anxiety literally cannot coexist with that level of presence. 🧘‍♀️🏋️‍♀️
