One thing I find really fascinating in my line of work is how intensely some people feel drawn to certain locations.

Not just: “Oh, I’d love to visit there someday.”

I mean places that feel strangely familiar, emotionally charged, and almost difficult to explain.

There are many different ways to approach this, but some karmic astrologers explore this phenomenon through relocated charts to look for symbolic resonance with certain places, including possible past life connections.

I’ve actually seen this theme come up time and time again in past life regression work, which makes the whole thing even more fascinating.

It goes with out saying, that this isn’t concrete proof of reincarnation or anything definitive. I just think it’s an intriguing rabbit hole to go down if you’re interested in finding a potential past life connection to a location that deeply resonates with you.

I’ve had clients come in convinced they had a spiritual attachment. And while that can happen, it’s not what I usually find.

More often, what shows up are protective responses. The system blocking access to something it’s not ready to process yet.

While the client is in trance it can look like: falling asleep, blanking out, even hearing loud internal interruptions like alarms or noise.

Those moments aren’t random. They’re not something “taking over.” They’re the mind creating distance from something deeper.
And that’s where the nuance comes in.

Because in rare cases, something can present differently in trance. Spiritual attachments are definitely a thing, but not common. And it is not something you determine beforehand, and it’s not something you diagnose on your own.

It’s something that becomes clear through the process.

What comes up in trance can feel strange or disconnected, but it isn’t meaningless.
The subconscious doesn’t speak in logic.

It speaks in patterns.

The same emotions, beliefs, and experiences repeat, just in different forms. Images, sensations, memories… they all trace back to something consistent underneath.

Once you understand that, you stop trying to figure it out and start working with it.

That’s where real change happens.

Past Life Regression Therapy is often misunderstood.

It’s not about finding out who you were,
and it’s not about having a purely “spiritual” experience for the sake of it.

In a therapeutic setting, it’s used to access the subconscious and work through patterns that feel difficult to explain or shift.

Sometimes those patterns are rooted in this life.
Sometimes they present in ways that feel deeper or more symbolic.

◽️Either way, the goal is the same:
Understanding what’s happening beneath the surface so you can respond differently in your present life.

I also integrate karmic astrology when appropriate, as a way to map and clarify those patterns more clearly.

This work isn’t passive.

The fall of the guru is an old story.

Again and again, we’ve watched individuals claim spiritual authority or special access to insight, only for the illusion to eventually crack. What follows is often confusion, betrayal, and the quiet realization that intuition was ignored along the way.

You don’t need a guru.

After years working as a transpersonal hypnotherapist, I’ve learned this: every psyche is unique. Every soul carries a different constellation of experience. No one can interpret your inner world better than you can.

Practitioners can guide.
They can support.
They can witness.
But they cannot do your healing for you.
The work is collaborative.
The authority remains yours.

Scanning. Replaying. Bracing. Imagining worst-case outcomes.
That’s the nervous system activating.
Trauma speaks in urgency. It tightens the chest and demands immediate action.
Intuition feels different.
It doesn’t spiral.
It doesn’t argue.
It states.
