It's been 10 years since I participated in my first with my sisters. Can you believe that? Wow! Each time my feet hit the pavement, it is a eminder to myself that I'm worth it. In the past, I've walked/jogged for me. Taking this time for radical self care. This time I'm serving an even bigger purpose as a charity runner/walker for Covenant House New Orleans. Supporting this organization and the work they do in our city is something that was placed in my heart to do after last year's race. Imagine a word that serves as a touchstone for your entire year—something that inspires, challenges, and focuses your energy. Whether you're looking to grow spiritually, emotionally, or physically, that one word can be the key to unlocking your best year yet.

For me, choosing my one word isn't arbitrary. Prayer is a guiding factor. So, there is also scripture grounding me.

For 2025, my word is flourish and my scripture is Psalms 115:14. "May the Lord cause you to flourish, both you and your children. "
