Ms. Patricia Keough came to Marrero Healthcare for skilled therapy and made wonderful progress along the way. When she faced the difficult decision to transition to long-term care, she approached it with incredible positivity and grace.

Ms. Patricia shared a heartfelt letter with our team, saying we had “energized and educated” her. We couldn’t let that go unanswered, because she did the very same for us!

We’re grateful we could be there for Ms. Patricia during this transition, and even more grateful that we get to continue having her as part of our Marrero Healthcare family. 🏡✨

Mr. Melvin Smith recently experienced a slight decline in his standing ability, but he’s hard at work in therapy to maintain his strength, balance, and confidence on his feet.

Every therapy session is focused on helping him stay as safe and independent as possible while working toward his goals. We’re proud of your determination, Mr. Melvin, and we’re cheering you on every step of the way! 👏

Happy Days at Marrero! 🏡💙

Congratulations to Mr. Gary Bourgeois on graduating from our rehabilitation program and heading home!

This wasn’t Mr. Gary’s first stay with us at Marrero, and this time he chose to extend his stay until he felt confident and ready to return home. After a long journey, he’s reached an incredible milestone, and we couldn’t be happier for him.

We’re honored to have been part of your recovery and wish you continued health, strength, and happiness as you enjoy being back home. Congratulations, Mr. Gary! 🎉

Bingo Family Night at Marrero Healthcare Center! ✨

Nothing brings people together quite like a fun night of bingo! Our residents were thrilled to welcome their loved ones for an evening filled with laughter, friendly competition, and special moments shared together.

From exciting prizes to smiling faces, Bingo Family Night was a wonderful reminder that the best memories are made when family and community come together.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the evening so special. We can’t wait for the next one!

Marrero has been full of fun, fellowship, and unforgettable moments! 🍿❄️🎶

Residents enjoyed a cozy Family Movie Night, complete with great company and a relaxing evening together. We also had a fantastic time watching a special performance by the Femme Fatale Group, organized by our very own Director of Nursing, Meicholas Hebert. Their energy and talent had everyone smiling and entertained!

To top it all off, residents cooled off during Snowball Day, thanks to the delicious frozen treats from Buck’s Sno-Wiz.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make these events so memorable. It’s days like these that bring our Marrero family together and create lasting memories! 💙🧡💙🧡
