Today felt like one of those ordinary days that ends up being kind of magical. ✨

✔️ Day 3, Week 1 workout

✔️ Oliver walk while Nemo rested

✔️ High-protein lunch

Ground turkey, avocado, chives, shredded cheese, and cottage cheese whipped smooth with a hand mixer so it’s creamy instead of chunky. 😂

Before anyone says “eww”... trust me. I used to think the same thing. The protein is worth it.

Approx macros:
✨ 40-45g protein
✨ 10-15g carbs
✨ 20-25g fat

I’ve also been reading *The Magic* for the second time and taking a 30-day Netflix detox.

Somewhere along the way my feed became crime, murder, and bad news. It was affecting my mindset more than I realized.

So this month I’m choosing joy.

I also finally finished my vision book after procrastinating for weeks because I wanted everything to be perfect.

Now I’ve got six months left in 2026 and a clear vision of where I’m headed.

And honestly?

That feels really good. ✨

Going back through 11 years of choreography today — refining, rebuilding, remembering what my body actually loves to do.

I know the internet is loud right now about heavy lifting like it’s the only way. It’s not.

Some of us don’t want a bodybuilder look. Some of us want strength that feels like control, mobility, flexibility, longevity… a dancer’s kind of strong.

Barre with my choreography is that for me — feminine and strong.

This is my happy place in motion.

Stay productive.

Lift heavy weights.

Stay relevant.

Stay busy.

Stay improving.

What if this chapter isn’t about becoming more?

What if it’s about enjoying what you’ve already become?

I know this might be unpopular, but I don’t believe every woman over 55 needs to be pushing heavy weights if she hates every minute of it.

Yes, strength matters. Muscle matters. Longevity matters.

But so does joy.

Sometimes I see women forcing themselves through workouts they dread because they’ve been told it’s the only way to age well. And honestly? I think consistency beats intensity every time.

If lifting heavy lights you up, amazing.

But if walking, Pilates, barre, dancing, yoga, swimming, hiking, or simply moving your body feels better and keeps you coming back day after day, that matters too.

The best workout isn’t the one someone on the internet says you should do.

It’s the one you’ll actually do.

At this stage of life, I’m less interested in punishment and more interested in feeling strong, energized, capable, and happy in my body.

Movement should add to your life, not become another thing you dread checking off your list.

Do what makes you feel alive.

That’s the workout worth keeping. ✨
