She used to sit with her dad and tell him all about her dreams.
How she wanted to sing.
Dance.
Act.

And now, here she is.
Walking into rehearsal with that same brave heart.

The same voice that once sang her daddy to sleep for the last time.
The same voice that carried tears at his memorial.
Now singing through doors we never imagined would open.

Losing her first love could’ve silenced her.
Instead, she chose expression.
She chose art.
She chose healing.

I’m so proud of her for not burying her dreams, but carrying them forward so her daddy can still hear her.

From heaven, with a front row seat. 💙

This made me laugh and then it made me think.

Faith doesn’t need an announcement.
Healing doesn’t need permission.
And boundaries don’t mean you’re lost.

Grief taught me discernment.
Who gets access.
Who gets distance.
And who gets silence.

The Lord is everywhere. Period.

If this made you chuckle and nod your head, you’re not alone 💙

Not because I quit.
Not because I gave up.

But because my mind needed a second to catch up with my body. 😮‍💨

Grief doesn’t clock out just because you showed up. Some days you need a pause before the push. A breath before the effort. Permission to feel what you’re carrying.

And yes, I stayed.

An hour later, I was WORKING working.
And that speed bag?
She didn’t stand a chance today 🥊

Some days the win isn’t what you post.
It’s that you showed up anyway.

That still counts. 💙

If today’s win was just showing up, this is for you. Drop a 💙 if you know the feeling.

Some days I move my body for strength.
Some days I move it just to survive.

Grief doesn’t disappear just because you show up.
But movement gives me somewhere to put it.

This isn’t about perfection.
It’s about choosing myself in small, quiet ways.
Even on the days it feels heavy.
Even when motivation is gone.

Healing doesn’t cancel discipline.
It teaches you how to practice it gently.

And some days?
Showing up is the whole win. 💙

If movement has been part of your healing too, drop a 💙.
