The right person
doesn't have to be perfect,
doesn't have to always know
what to say or how to fix it.

They can be scared.
They can make mistakes.
They can fumble for words
that never quite come.

But the right person
is the one who,
in your brightest moments
and your darkest ones,
still looks at you
and feels grateful
to have found you at all.

The one who,
even without perfect words,
simply says—

*"I'm still here.
I still choose you."* ❤️

Sometimes letting go
isn't surrender.

It's choosing peace
over a pain that has already stayed too long —
it's finally saying,
*I deserve stillness more than I deserve this fight.*

The price of struggle is simple, really —
a little chaos left behind in your past,
a little wisdom carried into your future,
and, if you're lucky,
a good laugh to hold onto
right here, in the present.

That mistake you made at work,
the stranger you shouted at on the road,
the house you're chasing so hard to own —
in less than a hundred years,
it will belong to someone else entirely,
someone who never knew your name.

None of it will matter the way it feels like it matters now.

So maybe that's the quiet mercy in all of this —
the small things were never meant to be carried forever.
Only the love was.

Your mental health isn't your fault,
but it is your responsibility.

Feel it.
Cry about it.
Let it hurt
as much as it needs to.

Healing was never a straight line—
it bends,
it circles back,
it surprises you
with days you thought you'd already survived.

There will be moments
where you finally feel free,
like the weight has lifted for good.

But only you
can strike that spark within yourself.
No one else can carry the flame
you're meant to hold.

You have to take action
to heal yourself—
even when it's hard,
even when it's slow.

And still,
we can't help but reminisce sometimes,
can't help the occasional relapse,
can't help missing
what used to be.

That doesn't mean you've failed.
It just means you're human.

So here's a hug
for everyone healing right now,
for every step forward
and every step back.

May God walk beside you
through every part
of this journey. 🫂
