Five minutes.
That’s all it took to change the atmosphere of a whole day.
Not an hour.
Not when everything is perfect.
Not when life finally slows down.
Five. Minutes.
And let’s be real… we waste more than that scrolling, overthinking, and making excuses about why we “don’t have time” to pray.
But here’s the truth:
If you don’t start your day with God, you’re stepping into battles unarmed.
That mama in the devotional didn’t just raise kids… she built warriors.
She covered them before the world could touch them.
She made prayer a priority, not an afterthought.
And some of you are out here asking God to bless your day…
but you haven’t even invited Him into it.
“Faith without works is dead.” (James 2:26)
Prayer is the work. Showing up is the work. Being intentional is the work.
God is listening. He’s not ignoring you.
But are you making space for Him… or just squeezing Him in when it’s convenient?
Your life shifts when your mornings shift.
So here’s your challenge:
Tomorrow morning — before the phone, before the noise, before the excuses — give God your FIRST five minutes.
Not leftovers. First.
