We just concluded another very successful mission to Cuba this year. A team of 13 NYRN volunteers traveled together, delivering 1,820 pounds of critically needed medical supplies to a Pediatric cardiac hospital. The medical team had been waiting for these supplies to perform life-saving heart surgeries for 12 children and teenagers.

With this latest shipment, the 3rd this year, NYRN supporters have now delivered more than 3,000 pounds of medical supplies to Cuba through our ongoing humanitarian missions in 2026. We want to thank AFYA Foundation and Not just Tourists organization for providing the supplies.

Because of the dedication and commitment of our team and supporters, these surgeries were made possible. This year alone, our mission has helped save the lives of 22 children and teenagers by providing the essential medical supplies required for their cardiac surgeries.

This accomplishment is a testament to the generosity of every donor, volunteer, and supporter who contributed to this mission. Your compassion is transforming lives, giving children a second chance, and bringing hope to families throughout Cuba.
