Remember finding out the cause of death is crucial for your patients’ healing journey, including to plan for future pregnancies if they decide to have another baby. Today at the NC Capitol, bereaved mothers, advocates, and lawmakers stood together to push for passage of the BUMP Act (SB 909), a bill sponsored by which would bring standardized fetal movement education and provider training to every corner of North Carolina.

Two babies are born still every day in this state. The BUMP Act is how we change that.

PUSH's own incredible Ana Vick (), Owen's mom, has spent years laying the groundwork for this critical legislation alongside PUSH Changemaker Brittany Day (), Ruby & Sophie's mom, and our partners at / (including Madison's mom Henderson) and Tomeka James Isaac (), Jace's mom. This Mother's Day, we celebrate every courageous parent who has transformed loss into lasting change.

Mothers don't just grieve. We legislate. 🏛️
