Right now, Mutual Aid Diabetes is working around the clock to help diabetics survive. From June 1-14, MAD aims to help 300+ diabetics access vital supplies. And reaching our goal depends on community support.

If you’re able, please consider visiting our website and donating funds or needed supplies. If you’re not using something, we’ll get it to someone who will.

Hi all! We’re making insulin! No really, we’re doing it right now!

And after adding 20+ volunteers to our current manufacturing group in Baltimore—with the goal of making this accessible to everyone—we’d like to invite you to participate in some of our events, volunteer, or donate funds if you can.

We support diabetics in Ukraine and are looking to connect to members from the surrounding effected areas (possibly in Romania, Poland, etc.).

“SCOOP—Russian attacks cut off access to the main warehouse for Novo Nordisk drugs in Ukraine, a source says. All of NN’s insulin in 🇺🇦 is stored there. Unless warehouse access restored, pharmacies only have a couple days of left. ➡️This is also a crime against humanity.”

Join Mutual Aid Diabetes on Patreon! You can now set up a monthly reoccurring donation to MAD — so we can redistribute the funds to diabetics in need and offset our operating costs! We have been so thrilled with the number of donations to our general GoFundMe, but wanted to set up a way for our community to more sustainably support what we do — so we can plan for the long term.

There are 6 tiers priced between $3 and $275. It’s a lofty goal… but if we reach 400 patrons we’ll start a podcast!! 🎙 (Message us if you want to work on that, especially if you have experience producing a podcast. ) We want to vastly expand the educational content we bring to the community, but we can’t do it without you.

This black history month, take some time to educate yourself on the history of mutual aid. We wouldn’t be able to do what we’re doing and help our community without the time and effort put in by the black community to establish mutual aid programs around the country.
