Bananas! Filled with fiber and B vitamins for energy they will help you also manage your blood sugar. They are filled with potassium which will also benefit kidney health. And they come in a handy natural container so throw one in your dance bag and dance off to class!
Berries! All kinds! Filled with antioxidants, and other nutrients like vitamin C and folate, berries can improve cognitive function and improve your blood sugar control.
Apples! This is my all time favorite. Apples are filled with soluble fiber so if you are having tummy troubles, an apple a day may really help you. They also may help to lower your cholesterol naturally.
Oranges! They not only help with hydration but will provide you with vitamin C which for all of you dancers and athletes will help you absorb iron, lowering your risk for anemia.
