The ones solving problems before most of us have had our first cup of coffee.
The ones caring for residents and patients while everyone else is enjoying a holiday.

The ones stepping in when a community needs extra support. And the ones working behind the scenes to make sure everything keeps moving.
To the nurses, aides, administrators, caregivers, and healthcare professionals working in long-term care, hospitals, and communities. Thank you for the work you do, often when no one is watching.

There are some texts that make you smile. And then there are the ones that remind you why you do what you do. ❤️
I recently received this text from a colleague/client:

“Go work your magic 😊”

And along with it came this amazing picture. 🦸‍♀️

What a compliment!

But the truth is, the “magic” isn’t magic at all. It’s experience, relationships, teamwork, persistence, and a commitment to getting it right.

Helping a facility regain substantial compliance is never about simply checking boxes. It’s about digging into the root causes, developing a realistic strategy, working alongside the leadership team, strengthening systems, educating staff, and most importantly—creating sustainable change that improves outcomes for residents and staff.

There are challenging days. There are complicated deficiencies. There are moments when the path forward isn’t always obvious.

That’s when you roll up your sleeves and get to work. 💪

So, to the colleague/client who sent this my way—thank you. You made my day.

And yes… I’ll go work my magic. 😉

Because when a facility succeeds, compliance improves, and residents receive better care, THAT is the real win.

Andi brings a wealth of experience in senior living operations, business development, strategic growth, and dementia care. Throughout her career as an Executive Director and industry leader, she has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to enhancing the lives of older adults while supporting families, caregivers, and healthcare professionals through some of the most challenging moments of the aging journey.

As an expert in Alzheimer's disease and dementia care, Andi is an accomplished educator and advocate whose passion extends far beyond healthcare knowledge. Her unique ability to navigate complex and emotionally difficult situations with compassion, empathy, and selflessness has earned the trust and respect of residents, families, colleagues, and industry partners alike. She has dedicated her career to ensuring that individuals living with dementia, receive person-centered care that preserves , promotes meaningful , and enhances of life.

In her role as Vice President of Marketing Strategy and Dementia Programs, Andi will lead the development of initiatives, strengthen , and expand New Era Health Associates' comprehensive and offerings.

Community partnerships are at the heart of creating stronger, healthier communities.

It was an honor for New Era Health Associates and Spring Home at Galloway to be part of such an amazing evening at the JCC Summer Series: A Night of Bruce Springsteen with the B Street Band. We were proud to serve as a sponsor and support an event that brought so many wonderful people together.

As healthcare professionals, we know that wellness extends far beyond the walls of our communities. Opportunities to connect, celebrate, and enjoy experiences together strengthen relationships, reduce isolation, and enrich the lives of individuals of all ages.

What an incredible day spending time with Jackie Becker, REBC and the Conner Strong & Buckelew team at their Health & Benefits Innovation Summit.

The opportunity to learn alongside leaders who are challenging conventional thinking around employee benefits, population health, pharmacy solutions, and workforce engagement was both insightful and energizing. Thank you for including Elliott J. Cohen, PCHA, CVCS-T, CVCS, CDP and me - New Era Health Associates, in such a meaningful event.

One of the highlights of the day was meeting Dave Raymond , the original Philly Phanatic, and hearing his keynote, The Evolution of Happiness. His message was a powerful reminder that culture, connection, purpose, and engagement are not “soft” concepts—they are strategic drivers of performance.

For those of us leading in post-acute care, the lessons shared throughout the day have direct implications for our organizations. As we continue to navigate workforce shortages, rising healthcare costs, and increasing operational pressures, innovative benefit solutions can play a critical role in supporting team members while positively impacting the bottom line.

When employees have access to meaningful benefits, healthcare advocacy, navigation services, and wellness resources, organizations often see improved retention, reduced absenteeism, stronger engagement, and better overall outcomes. Today we honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. In healthcare and post-acute care, we are privileged to serve many veterans who have given so much. Their courage, dedication, and selflessness gave us freedoms we often take for granted.

As we spend time with family and loved ones, may we also take a moment to reflect with gratitude and remember those who gave everything.
