Why Adult Friendships Feel Impossible (And What to Do About It)

Feel like you're always on the outside looking in? Like everyone else figured out how to make friends and nobody sent you the manual?

For a lot of men with ADHD, it's not that we don't want connection—it's that we've never been taught how to build it in a way that actually works with our brains.

Join us Thursday, April 30th at 7 PM Eastern as we host Caroline Maguire, PCC, M.Ed., author of Friendship Skills for Neurodivergent Adults. She's going to break down why adult friendship feels so hard for us—and more importantly, what we can actually do about it.

You'll learn how to:

* Build friendships at work without overthinking or overextending yourself
* Know what to share (and what not to) so you stop accidentally tanking connections
* Find your people instead of just hoping someone notices you exist
* Handle social situations with less dread and more confidence

Donate today and join us after the talk for a live Q&A where you can get your questions answered directly.

Access is by donation—click the link below and register today. Your support keeps the Men's ADHD Support Group running so we can keep building spaces where men actually learn this stuff.

You deserve real friendships. Let's figure out how to build them—together.

🔥 HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT 🔥

We're doing something we've NEVER done before with ADDitude Magazine - and it's going to be raw, real, and exactly what our community needs.

"The Hidden Complexities of Men with ADHD" - A roundtable discussion that finally tackles what it's REALLY like to be a neurodivergent man in a world that expects us to have it all together.

No sugarcoating. No clinical jargon. Just honest truth about:
✋ The masking we do every single day
💔 The shame when we feel like we've let everyone down
🤐 Wanting to express our emotions but fearing we'll look weak
🧠 Questioning our intelligence when our brains work differently

Marc Almodovar Shane Thrapp, and Brendan Mahan from our Men's Group are joining Jesse J. Anderson and Kyrus Keenan Westcott for a conversation that's been too long coming.

This isn't another tips-and-tricks webinar. This is about being SEEN. Being UNDERSTOOD. And knowing you're not fighting this battle alone.

Rejection Sensitivity (RSD) Fu***ng Sucks.

That's why we are hosting an amazing new event!

Become Un-F**k-With-Able: Say No to RSD with Dr. Tamara Rosier

Feel like you’re constantly walking on eggshells? Struggle to say no without guilt—or fall apart when someone else says no to you?
Rejection Sensitivity Dysphoria (RSD) hits hard. But it’s not just about the rejection—it’s about how our mindset reacts to it.

Join us as we host Dr. Tamara Rosier, ADHD coach and author of You, Me, and Our ADHD Family, and Your Brain Is Not Broken. She’ll break down the difference between survival thinking (where RSD thrives) and transformational thinking (where we get to take back control).

You’ll learn how to:
-- Stop people-pleasing without turning into a jerk
-- Say no without shame
-- Keep your cool instead of spiraling
-- Build self-worth that doesn’t depend on other people’s reactions

Donate today and join us after the talk for a live Q&A where you can ask questions and dig deeper!

In May, we had the pleasure of having Caroline Maguire, PCC, M.Ed., author of Why Will No One Play With Me? She broke down what makes adult friendship so hard—and what you can actually do about it.

Having Caroline come on to support our Men’s ADHD Support Group was a pretty amazing event. She really helped me understand a lot of things that affirmed what I knew, but also some things that I hadn’t thought about. I decided to parse out my notes, however, she goes over so much in the video so check it out as well!
