Three generations. One kitchen.
I never saw my grandmother measure anything.
She just knew. Rice water, green tea, whatever was on the counter. Hands that knew what skin needed before skincare was a category.
She taught my mother. My mother taught me.
Not skincare. Just what to put on your face when the kitchen is full.
I moved to the United States at 17. Built BYROE from scratch.
But honestly, I was just trying to bottle what I grew up watching.

Happy AAPI Heritage Month.
