Global Foundation for Eating Disorders GFED's mission is to eliminate eating disorders. www.gfed.org Eating Disorders are a disease, not a choice. The demographic is growing exponentially.

It is estimated that 30 million Americans suffer from this devastating and potentially fatal illness at some point in their lives. More men, women and children are suffering globally. Anorexia nervosa has the highest mortality rate of any mental illness. Eating Disorders are curable. GFED funds cutting edge research and works with the world's leading experts in the field to save lives and ease the suffering of millions.
