Remember when?

Unpopular opinion: the people saying

"AI is overhyped, I'll stick to what works"
....... are making the exact same mistake people made about the internet in 1998.

I remember when "serious" business owners laughed at websites. "Why would I need a .com?" They kept doing it the traditional way.

You know what happened to most of them?

The ones who looked stupid early — building clunky websites, figuring out email, learning to sell online — those are the ones who owned the next 20 years.

That's where we are again. Right now.

So I am a bit tired too of hearing that AI is whack.

The Night A Client Asked Me Why Her Phone Got Quiet

I want to tell you about the moment my phone stopped being quiet about something I had been watching happen to business owners for over a year.

It was late. A client called — not to complain, just to ask a simple question.

"I've been in business for eleven years. My reviews are good. My website looks great. Why is my phone getting quieter?"

I already knew the answer before she finished the sentence. I had seen it dozens of times since late 2024 when I started tracking how AI engines were changing the way customers find and choose local businesses.

Her business was invisible to AI. Not broken. Not poorly run. Not outdated. Simply unreadable to the new kind of search that her customers had quietly switched to without telling her.

I have spent the last year and a half building the methodology to fix exactly that — for businesses that are real, established, and deserve to be found.
