About 2 million people in the US are living with Hep B. Chronic Hep B is the leading cause of liver cancer. Once you have chronic Hep B, it stays in your DNA and there is no cure treatment today.

Dr. Helen Ouyang's article is a powerful reminder of why the hepatitis B birth-dose vaccine is a simple way to reduce one's future liver cancer risk. A father gone at 35 to hepatitis-B related liver cancer...why put our kids at greater risk for liver cancer?
