Every Saturday morning, I make pancakes with my kids. And every time I stir the batter, I think about fat grafting. I know, a little weird. Here's why it matters for your results: When we graft fat to the breasts, buttocks, or face, this is actually a cell transplant, but not all of those cells survive. We must optimize every step in the process to ensure maximum “take” of the graft. It comes down to:
💉 How the fat is harvested (gentle, low-pressure technique)
🧪 How it's processed (separating viable cells from debris and oil, enhancing cell wall structure with advanced surfactant washes)
🎯 How it's placed (small aliquots, multiple planes, never in clumps)
Following our protocol, we achieve average graft survival of 75% to 85%. When you’re making pancakes, a mistake with the recipe or over-mixing the batter can ruin breakfast very quickly. Fat transfer preparation isn’t that different.
