Your Instagram bio is not supposed to tell people everything about you.

It should make the right person think, “Okay, I need to follow her.”

One of the biggest personal branding mistakes I see is treating an Instagram bio like a résumé:

Mom | Wife | Entrepreneur | Coach | Speaker | Creator

All of those things may be true… but they still don’t tell people why they should stay.

If you’re building a personal brand on Instagram, your bio should quickly answer:

Who are you?
Who do you help?
What do you help them achieve?
Why should they trust or follow you?
What should they do next?

Clarity matters more than trying to squeeze your whole life into 150 characters.

Your bio doesn’t need to explain everything about you.

Your content can do that.

Your Instagram bio simply needs to help the right people recognize that they’re in the right place.

Save this as your Instagram bio checklist before you rewrite yours.

And if you want help building a personal brand that attracts opportunities and customers, comment BRAND and I’ll send you the details for Build Your Brand in 7 Days.

Content pillars shouldn’t just be a list of things you enjoy talking about.

They should sit at the intersection of:

What you want to be known for.
What your audience needs help with.
What you can teach from actual experience.

That’s how you create content that feels natural to you, valuable to your audience, and connected to your business.

If you’re still unsure about your content pillars, comment what you do and who you want to help. I’ll reply to a few comments with content pillar suggestions.

Save this before planning your next post.

Literally me in my daily grind. 😂

Laptop in one hand, mic in the other, a book on my head… and somehow still functioning because of the TDG Latte in my mouth. ☕️

Because some days, THE GRIND IZ REAL!!!

Good thing there’s coffee made for it.

The TDG Latte, exclusively at The Daily Grind and Elinor— making my daily grind a little easier, one sip at a time. ☺️

Your Instagram bio doesn’t need to tell your entire life story. It simply needs to help the right people understand what you do—and why they should follow you.

Use this formula:

I help [WHO]
[ACHIEVE WHAT]
so they can [BIGGER RESULT].

Mine could be:

I help moms in business build a personal brand and sell confidently, so they can earn while creating more time for their families.

Try creating yours using the formula.

And if you want help building the rest of your personal brand, comment BRAND and I’ll send you the details.

1️⃣ You don’t have to prove that you deserve the life you want.

At 24, you may feel like you need to work harder, achieve more, and keep everyone happy before you’re finally allowed to slow down. But your worth was never supposed to be measured by how much you could carry without complaining. Rest is not something you earn only after exhausting yourself.

2️⃣ Not everyone will understand the decisions that bring you peace.

Some people only understand the version of you that was convenient for them—the one who always said yes, explained herself, and stayed even when she was unhappy. When you begin choosing differently, they may call you selfish or say that you’ve changed. Let them. Growth will sometimes disappoint people who benefited from your lack of boundaries.

3️⃣ You can love your family deeply without losing yourself inside motherhood.

Being a good mother does not require you to stop dreaming. You’re still allowed to want something of your own—to create, earn, grow, travel, and discover who you are becoming. Your children don’t only need a mother who sacrifices for them. They also need to see a woman who respects the life God gave her.

4️⃣ Stop rushing because someone else reached a milestone before you.

There is no single timeline for marriage, children, success, healing, or becoming the woman you want to be. Some of the delays you once cried over may eventually become the protection you thank God for. What is meant for you will not become more meaningful simply because it happened earlier.

5️⃣ Some friendships will change, even when nobody did anything wrong.

Life will move you into different seasons. Priorities will shift, conversations will become less frequent, and some people you once spoke to every day will slowly become memories. You don’t have to turn every ending into betrayal. You can appreciate what a friendship once was while accepting that it may no longer fit who you are becoming.

7/7 of Build a Brand That Opens Doors

when I started showing up online, I didn’t know I was building a personal brand.

I was simply sharing what I knew, what I believed in, and what I was learning along the way.

eventually, people started trusting me, buying from me, and inviting me into opportunities I never could have planned.

but it took me 10 years of experimenting, making mistakes, and figuring out what actually works.

you don’t have to take the same long route.

I gathered everything I learned and turned it into Build a Brand in 7 Days—a step-by-step course for moms in business who know they have something valuable to offer but don’t know how to put it all together.

what took me 10 years to learn, you can start learning and applying in 7 days.

comment “BRAND” and I’ll send you the details.

6/7 How to turn Followers to Buyers

your content isn’t turning followers into buyers because it’s probably missing one of these 3 things:

connection — “she understands me.”
credibility — “she knows what she’s talking about.”
conversion — “I know exactly what to do next.”

and no, every post doesn’t need to sell.

but every post should have a purpose.

because getting attention is one thing. building enough trust for someone to buy? that’s another.

save this for your next content-planning day.
