Wow… What an incredible kickoff! Day 1 of our Credentialing Summit is officially in the books, and it completely exceeded our expectations!

Today was all about “From Task to Profession: Building the Foundation.” We spent 5 intense, value-packed hours diving deep into the future of healthcare provider enrollment, and the energy from our speakers and community was unmatched.

Here is just a glimpse of what went down today:

The Big Picture: Our very own Olga Khabinskay kicked things off with a powerful keynote on shaping national credentialing standards alongside healthcare organizations, compliance leaders, and revenue cycle experts.

Business Growth: Elena Pak shared the exact operational methods and communication strategies needed to build a high-performing credentialing service, followed by an eye-opening real-world case study with Kellie Carey.

Industry Giants: We had incredible partner sessions! Brandon Parker from CAQH broke down the provider data lifecycle, and Katherine Abel from AAPC showed exactly why certification matters in an integrated revenue cycle.

Tech & Strategy: Alina Mineyli taught us how to turn fragmented processes into streamlined, data-driven systems.

Hands-on Value: We wrapped up with an interactive workshop where attendees literally built their own Credentialing Workflow Blueprint with Olga Khabinskay, followed by an exciting live lottery!

If you missed today… honestly, you missed a LOT of game-changing insights.

But here is the good news: We are just getting started, and Day 2 kicks off tomorrow!

You can still catch the second half of the summit, connect with top industry experts, and get actionable strategies to elevate your business. Don't let another day of pure value slip away.

Tomorrow, the rules of the credentialing industry are being rewritten. Will you be in the room?

If you are still treating credentialing as just administrative paperwork, you are already falling behind. The market is shifting, compliance is tightening, and the businesses that don’t adapt right now will be obsolete by next quarter.

Tomorrow morning, The First National Credentialing Business Summit kicks off.

We aren't here to read slides or repeat basic theories. We’ve brought together the absolute heavyweight champions of the industry to give you the exact blueprint for revenue growth and bulletproof compliance.

Look at the lineup stepping onto our virtual stage tomorrow:

The Policy Shapers: CAQH, AAPC, NCQA, NAMSS

The Tech & Business Innovators: WCH Service Bureau, CredyApp

When these names gather in one place, it’s not just a webinar — it’s an industry reset.

If you are a healthcare executive, practice manager, or RCM leader, this is your final wake-up call. You can either spend the next 12 months trying to figure out new compliance standards through trial and error, or you can get the answers directly from the source tomorrow.

Doors close tonight. No extensions. No replays that can replace live networking.

Claim your seat at the table before it’s too late: https://summit.wchsb.com/

Federal Alert for Vascular Physicians: OIG Report + RAC Audits Put Three Key Procedure Categories in the Crosshairs

Vascular specialists and interventional radiologists billing under Medicare are facing enforcement pressure from two directions at once — and if you perform office-based procedures, you need to act now.

OIG Report — $105 Million in Questioned Payments

On May 5, 2026, the OIG released a landmark report on peripheral vascular procedures (angioplasty, stenting, atherectomy) performed in office-based laboratories (OBLs). Key findings:

$105 million in Medicare payments flagged as potentially medically unnecessary
Just 26 physicians accounted for 61% of concerning payments
75% of atherectomy and 47% of tibial artery procedures performed in OBLs
CMS has agreed to monitor billing AND follow up with identified physicians
RAC Auditors Are Now Targeting Selective Catheter Placement

Separately, RAC auditors have added selective catheter placement — including angiograms and vascular embolizations — as an active audit target. CPT codes under direct scrutiny:

CPT 36247 – Selective catheter placement, third order or more
CPT 37229 – Endovascular revascularization, tibial/peroneal artery
Together, these developments mean that angioplasty, stenting, atherectomy, selective catheterization, angiograms, and vascular embolizations are all now under active federal review.

What's already happening:→ RAC, ZPIC, and MAC contractors ramping up audit activity → CMS following up with physicians already flagged by OIG → False Claims Act enforcement in motion — one vascular practice just settled for $6.73M

WCH Service Bureau can help you get ahead of this.

We offer a proactive pre-audit compliance review covering all targeted procedure categories — claims review, medical necessity documentation, utilization pattern analysis, corrective action planning, and staff education.

FREE Sample Audit — No Commitment, No Risk

Send us 2–3 patient records, and we'll show you exactly where you stand — at no charge.
