I have ADHD. Morning routines don't work for me. So I asked a different question.
Every productivity influencer says build a morning routine. Here's why that advice fails millions of people.
People with ADHD have lower baseline dopamine and norepinephrine activity. That's not a willpower issue. It's neurochemistry.
ADHD people CAN focus. Intensely. But only on things that activate their dopamine system. The 12-step morning routine doesn't qualify. Novelty wears off in 3-5 days. Then your brain moves on.
So instead of a 60-minute ritual, I asked: what's the smallest action that gives the biggest return?
One scoop. Warm water. 30 seconds. Done.
L-Tyrosine supports dopamine pathways. L-Theanine promotes calm focus. Not cures. Functional support for a brain wired differently.
The wellness world wasn't built for every brain. So we're building something that is.
