Hudson Guild Since its founding in 1895, Hudson Guild has been building a community in Chelsea and beyond!

Hudson Guild is a multi-service community center serving those who live, work or go to school in Chelsea, with a focus on those in need. Our work helps knit together a dynamic and multi-faceted community, supporting and empowering individuals as they pursue their personal, family, health, and professional goals. Our activities provide a stable “home away from home” for learning and development, an

d a safety net for people in economic distress. Building on our roots in the settlement house tradition, Hudson Guild takes an integrated, holistic approach to providing our services and building community. With offerings as varied as community service projects for at-risk teens, mental health counseling for low-income individuals, wellness presentations for seniors and art gallery exhibitions, the Guild works to address and engage the range of needs for its participants.

Back to School, Back to Giving!

We hope you can join us at Hudson Guild Junior Board’s Back to School Fundraiser & Raffle on Thursday, September 17 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Wildflower, 505 West 23rd Street, NYC.

Together, we can help more than 300 children who attend Hudson Guild’s early childhood centers and after school programs get the academic enrichment, social emotional support, and emergency supplies they need to thrive in the 2026 to 2027 school year.

Ways to Support:
1. Purchase event tickets to attend the in-person mixer
2. Purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win prizes
3. Make a donation to support Hudson Guild students in the upcoming school year

Raffle prizes include a $500 DoorDash gift card, a new iPad, 2 tickets to see Doja Cat, a $100 Bathhouse gift card, and many more prizes to be announced.

Thank you to Speaker Speaker Julie Menin and District 3 Council Member Council Member Carl Wilson for all of your support in the FY27 City Budget! Thank you for putting forward a budget that supports teens and young adults, mental health services, older adult programming, and supportive housing resources in our community.

This budget will advance social programming in Chelsea and across the West Side of Manhattan and ensure that New Yorkers have the resources they need to succeed.

Yesterday, a group of interns from Related Companies joined us at Hudson Guild Children’s Center for a sweet morning of learning and creativity.

Students explored the history of ice cream and designed their own ice cream cone flavors through a hands on arts and crafts activity.

Participants from Hudson Guild’s Teen & Young Adult Services Program had an unforgettable experience cheering on the Knicks alongside thousands of passionate fans. From the exciting game action to the incredible performances and electric atmosphere, participants had an amazing time celebrating as the Knicks secured a thrilling Game 1 victory!

We are so grateful for partnerships like this that create meaningful opportunities and lasting memories for our community. Thank you, MSG Entertainment, for making this special night possible!

A sincere thank you to our partners at for volunteering over the last couple of weeks at our Fulton Community Center. Through this intergenerational collaboration, groups of fourth graders joined our older adult participants for arts activities, Zumba and chair tap sessions, interviews, and rounds of BINGO, creating moments of joy, connection, and shared learning along the way.

We were also thrilled to welcome Avenues’ choir and band for a special performance yesterday, joined by family members of the students.

The City and Its Uncertain Walls by Krystyna Borkowska is up at Hudson Guild Gallery, 441 West 26th Street, through June 30.

This installation refers to urban space. It examines multiple aspects of the city structure, its architectural dynamics and its atmosphere. It reflects on the poetic sense we make out of it.

Join us this Saturday, May 2nd from 12 to 3 PM at Fulton Community Center, 119 9th Avenue, for Hudson Guild’s Career Resource Fair!

In partnership with the West Side Work Coalition, this event brings together job seekers and local employers for an afternoon of networking, job opportunities, and career growth. Attendees can explore open positions in retail, security, DSP, janitorial, seasonal roles, and more. You can also access free training resources, resume support, raffles, and refreshments.

We also want to extend our sincere thanks to for his continued support of our Employment Services program and for championing workforce development across Chelsea and the West Side. His leadership and partnership have been instrumental in helping our community thrive.
