This weekend, The Joseph P. Addabbo Family Health Center celebrated alongside our community at Queens Carnival, a vibrant Caribbean parade that lights up our streets every year.

Queens Carnival brought the rhythm, the color, the culture, and we were honored to be part of it. From an intimate VIP breakfast where we broke bread with community leaders and elected officials, to the streets alive with flags, feathers, and freedom during the parade, this weekend was a reminder of what community really means.

The Joseph P. Addabbo Family Health Center is proud to stand in the vibrancy of the Caribbean spirit that shapes Far Rockaway. Thank you, Queens Carnival, for the invitation and the joy.

Every face here tells a story of care.

At our Red Hook Community Resource Health Fair, we had the honor of capturing the people who make this community what it is. Neighbors who trusted us with a smile. Families who showed up for their health. Staff who showed up for them. In every portrait, you can see it: the quiet strength of being seen, and the warmth of being cared for.

This is what community health looks like. Not just services delivered, but relationships built, one face, one moment, one conversation at a time.

Red Hook came out in full force for this fair, and we are so grateful for every person who walked through our doors. From resources and screenings to real conversations about wellness, this event was a beautiful reminder of why we do this work.

We recently welcomed our first Pediatric Dental patient at our Arverne location, marking an exciting new chapter in expanding access to care for children and families in our community.
