Thank you so much all of my CUSWF friends who have joined us for evenings of laughter and song! We were thrilled to have had our new Rodgers and Hart show sell-out last Saturday!

On April 30 we are bringing our "wildly entertaining" Do It Again: The Songs and Loves of George Gershwin to the Triad Theater on the Upper West Side for one night only!

Join us as the divine singer Deanna Kirk, the great Di Martino on piano and I weave funny and touching tales of George Gershwin’s love affairs and the songs they inspired.

Composer Richard Rodgers loved the ladies and married the woman he called “the most beautiful woman I’d ever seen” Dorothy Rodgers. Dorothy dropped out of Wellesley College to marry him.
Here with their young daughter and composer Mary Rodgers (who also went to Wellesley College.) Dorothy's favorite Rodgers and Hart song was “With a Song in my Heart” as he wrote it the year he proposed.
