Advance provision means getting abortion pills before you might need them — keeping them on hand, the way you might keep ibuprofen or a thermometer.
It's reasonable. People in restrictive states do this. People in supportive states do this. People who want fewer decisions to make in a stressful moment do this.
The process: online consultation with a clinician, pills delivered by mail in plain packaging, stored at home until you might need them. Advance provision through Southern Woven is a flat $145 (active-pregnancy care is separate and uses our sliding scale, starting at $1).
Pills last roughly 2–5 years from manufacture, and the risk past expiration is reduced efficacy, not danger.
You don't need to be sure you'll use them. Having the option is the point.
