Ended August doing much better. No at home oxygen, breathing much easier, blood pressure getting back up to normal, even steadily gaining weight.
Truly blessed with family and friends, visits and prayers.
God is good and we continue to give praise and thanksgiving for the healing that is taking place. 💙🙏🙌

Thomas is glad to have us home for a whole week/end.
PTL It was a good week stronger each day steadily gaining weight. Felt good to mow our lawn and do some work around the house and garage again. We may be a little slower but each project was one step closer to feeling better. No oxygen, blood pressure leveling off, and cough is much more manageable. Looking forward to the coming week followup with Primary Care Phys. Home Health Care may even sign him off if he keeps it up? 🙏💪🙌

Follow up with oncology Friday 8/21. Went well finally getting appetite back. Has a few pounds to gain and get energy back. Will check back in three weeks to see what next treatment will be. Options of immunotherapy, low dose chemo and or radiation still on the table. We have faith it is dying now and through Jesus healing will continue.💙💪🙏🙌

Our Guy Bruce K made it home from Avera today 8/17/26. Made wonderful strides over the weekend. Staying strong kicking up dust at home! 💙🫁💪🙏🙌

Lung Doctor's are the best! Even though latest word is maybe discharge Monday or Tuesday!
Good news tumor is smaller sad news it will take time before seeing relief where it has infiltrated the trachea.
Jesus knows what needs to be healed🙌 Our Guy is staying strong 💙💪🙏🙌

Getting this week underway! Last Radiation this afternoon 8/11!! Prospective few more days inpatient as pulmonary and lung Doctors work on controling cough and breathing limitation due to tumor. We have faith the cancer is being killed and this will improve as the tumor shrinks. Expecting good reports from radiology and oncology. In His Name.🙌

Lil Sis time!! As of 8/7 Our Guy will be hanging out through possibly 8/12. Weekend for watching heart rate, controling cough and oxygen levels. Then finish up with radiation on Monday and Tuesday. Wednesday to meet with team to see outlook from treatments. The staff has been such a blessing here at Avera McKennan Sioux Falls.💙💪🙏🙌
