I'm Shauna, jewelry artist, entrepreneur, and lover of all things semi-precious stones, Chakras, Healing, and Balance. A lariat is a necklace that is a long, clasp-free strand that stays in place by looping, threading, or knotting one end through a loop or across itself, forming a distinctive Y-shape.

The chain is 20' in length
The leaf measures 1.5" in length
The charm drop measures 1"
Total length equals 22.5"

Oh, and did I mention that I am creating a third, 'Lariat' style 'Autumn Leaves' Necklace. This one will include a singular textured copper leaf that you will drop the leaf pendent into. You will be able to drop it just a couple links or go longer creating a drop style necklace. 📿

I initially was going for a maple leaf. 🍁 But after
trying my hand at shaping a wire maple leaves using several different gauges of wire, I decided to go with a simple 'apple tree shaped' leaf. Or I could go with a 'linden tree shaped' leaf, a 'popular, a 'lilac', or a even a willow tree shape leaf'. But for now, I'm going to stick with the apple tree shaped leaf. 🍁🍃🍂

And that was my horticulture sided coming out.
😅🤷‍♀️

I'm still trying to figure out how long i want the chain. This one measures 20". This style of necklace can be made short or long. Depending on how long you want your drop. I think for these, I'll leave them right at 20". You can always custom order one to be longer, depending on my bead availability.

And, one more surprise, I'll be making one of these using Moss Agate beads. 💚

I haven't crunched the numbers on this Lariat but it should be comparable to the last two styles. Most like a bit less. HOWEVER, using any kind of semi-precious stone beads, the price will jump up significantly.

I'm so in love with making these beaded link style necklaces. I love the Czech fall colored leaves. I bought these leaves about a year ago. I just had to have them. I didn't know what I was going to make with them back then, but I rarely ever buy jewelry supplies with an already made plan. 😂 I'm like a kid in a candy store. I decided I wanted to offer more of these necklaces but with a variety of styles. I made a clasp for the first one I did. Realizing later, why even add a clasp when the chain is long enough to slip over your head. So I removed it on my second necklace. Now I have this clasp & it needs a necklace. That prompted me to make a princess style necklace. (I'll make a post about necklace lengths and what they are called in the jewelry world).

Introducing... 'Autumn Leaves' ~ Princess Length. (yes, I changed & shortened the name)

This piece features delicate leaf silhouettes meticulously shaped from raw, uncoated 22 gauge wire. Embracing a clean and elegant aesthetic, the design highlights the bright, natural warmth of the copper with minimal-decorative swirls on the organic beauty of the form.

Every element is intentionally crafted down to the hand-textured, soldered jump ring that complete the piece. This is a Princess Style Necklace. It measures around 19"

The beads are glass. The leaves are Czech.

** Note these necklaces have more purple hue colored beads with a couple of purple colored leaves. Just gorgeous!!
