Starting this spring, UK HealthCare’s Birthing Center will undergo a multiphase renovation.

Located on the third floor of University of Kentucky Albert B. Chandler Hospital’s Pavilion H, renovations will begin after the Mother Baby Unit moves to its new location in Pavilion A in early March. The updates will be conducted in phases, with completion expected in 2029.

Please help us welcome Taylor Henry, APRN to our Gynecologic Oncology Division!

Taylor earned her BSN and MSN–Family Nurse Practitioner from Morehead State University. She began her career as a labor and delivery nurse before advancing into her role as an APRN, bringing compassion and expertise to every patient she serves.

Why Women’s Health?
“I pursued a career in Women's health because I am passionate about providing women with the best care, even in the most vulnerable parts of their life. I want women to know that they can come to me without fear of judgment and feel fully supported.”

Clinical interests:
• Gene mutations
• Management of complicated ovarian cysts
• Cancer survivorship maintenance
• Cervical dysplasia

When she’s not at work, Taylor enjoys reading, beach trips, and spending time with her husband and children.

Meet Tori Mitchell, APRN — the newest member of the UK HealthCare - Georgetown Ob/Gyn team!

Tori is a proud UK graduate with her BSN from the University of Kentucky and MSN from Chamberlain College of Nursing. She started her career in the UK HealthCare NICU before becoming an APRN. She spent the last four years providing women’s health services as a nurse practitioner and also has experience in Urgent Care. When she’s not in clinic, you’ll find Tori outdoors with her husband and kids—usually cheering them on at baseball diamonds, soccer fields, and track meets.

Clinical interests:

Preventative care, contraception counseling, patient education, PCOS management, pelvic pain, and abnormal bleeding.

Why women’s health?

“I pursued a career in women’s health because I am passionate about supporting women through every stage of life—from adolescence to menopause. I want to provide a space where patients feel supported and heard during moments that can feel vulnerable or intimidating.”

Please join us in welcoming Andrew Greene, DO, to the Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine!

Dr. Greene joins the University of Kentucky as an assistant professor in the Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine. He attended the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, before earning his medical degree from the Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Greene completed both his residency and Maternal-Fetal Medicine fellowship at Wake Forest School of Medicine.

Outside of work, Dr. Greene enjoys spending time with his wife and their two dogs. He is an avid fan of collegiate sports and enjoys cooking and long-distance running.

Dr. Greene shared that he is excited about the opportunity to teach and mentor the next generation of fellows, residents, and medical students as he begins his career at the University of Kentucky.
