I have always been a maker of many things, a jack-of-all-trades if you will. Thoughts of creating things have been with me for a long time. When I found archery, I was never quite satisfied with any of the accessories I bought. I always thought of all the flaws I could see in both the craftsmanship or the design; basically, they were nothing special. I used all of the crafting skills that I had pi

cked up over the years to make my own pocket quiver. Little did I know that this task would turn into a hobby and an obsession. It took months of trial and error to create that first quiver, but once finished, I was compelled to make another one. That first quiver turned into a second, and then a third as I adjusted the design to my satisfaction. Next came a side quiver for my son and a back quiver for my wife. From there it escalated to anything that I could think of making: tabs, belts, bags, pouches. I only work on one project at a time, taking great care to make whatever I am working on the best that I can make it. I always use the best materials available to me. Each piece is 100% handcrafted and hand stitched, so each is one of a kind. This takes a little more time to craft than using machines, but it allows me to be more creative in my work. With proper care, the piece should last a lifetime. Thanks for taking the time to read this, and I look forward to making a handcrafted piece just for you.

Great weekend at the TAS Bowhunter World Championship. Here is a recap. I was shooting CD WF27 and won Barebow Division, Ultimate Bowhunter Challenge and Team event. Roma was shooting 19" Lazarev and won Youth division and Bowhunter Challenge. Becky was shooting her 23" Lazarev and won Team event and took 3rd in Women's Recurve Division. Congrats to all winners and everyone who attended the Championship. It was nice to shoot among old friends and meet new ones. Big thanks to North Florida Archers, Traditional Archery Society and all volunteers who helped with the shoot! We will see you next year!
