We get asked a lot how to actually start longevity training. Here’s the short version.

Step one is getting assessed. Not a generic fitness test, but actually looking at where you’re tight, where things hurt, and where your mobility is limited. This part is often skipped, and can cause issues down the road.

Step two is finding a program built around four things: tendon and joint strength, hypertrophy and strength, mobility training, and aerobic training.

If you’re not sure where to start, we offer a free assessment that covers the first step. This will give you the perfect starting point.

The people who usually come to this kind of training are people who value physical freedom.

That’s the recreational athlete who wants to keep playing at a high level without injuries, aches, or mobility restrictions holding them back. That’s the parent who wants to be an active participant in whatever sport their kids play. And that’s the grandparent who wants to stay active, capable and independent, not limited by their body.

Different stages, different goals, but all of them want their body to keep up with their life.

After 40, your body starts changing at a faster rate. Muscle loss speeds up. Bone density drops. Joints and tendons lose some of their natural resilience. But this isn’t just for people 40+. If the goal is to keep playing sports, staying active, and moving well for decades without injuries, stiffness and pains, incorporating longevity training is crucial.

It is important to remember, regardless of your age, it is never too late or too early to start.

You don’t stop exercising because you grown old, you grow old because you stop exercising.
