Everybody’s in therapy. So why does it feel like nobody’s getting better?

We normalized the hour on the couch but never asked the harder question, when are you actually done? When does the work end and the *living* begin?

Talking about the wound on repeat isn’t the same as tending to it. Real healing asks more of you than a weekly appointment: it asks you to change your food, your habits, your relationships, your environment. It asks you to do something with what you uncovered, not just keep uncovering it.

Therapy can be a tool. It was never meant to be the whole toolbox and it was never meant to be forever.
