YogaHotDish is now Bold Venture Yoga Travel offering 6 influenced classes/week and guided tours of Japan. Returning home from 5 years in Asia and with a yoga certification from Kripalu in Massachusetts, I started yoga in North Oaks back in the early 2000's. Many of those early classes continue on to this day, though the geographic footprint has expanded to

include Arden Hills and Falcon Heights. restorative, pranayama, core, inversions, standing, balancing, and meditation. Plenty of hands-on assists and individual coaching. No new age-y music or mirrors to detract from meditation. Join us in North Oaks at the Golf Club (Mondays 9:15 am); at Peace United Methodist on Hodgson Rd (Wednesdays 12 pm, 5:30 pm), Arden Hills City Hall (Thursdays 4:45 pm, Saturdays 10 am) or the City of Falcon Heights (Mondays 4:30 pm). Mix and match classes/locations to suit your schedule. Study with the same committed people evey week and get ready to transform!

I run a student-focused organization on a shoe-string. I am bombarded by yoga studio software companies trying to sell me software to “track attendance.” My business has always been on the honor system. I have no contracts, no annual memberships. I am also the official “yoga provider” for my HOA. To get told by the resident FB page administrator (who owns a company that sells widgets) that I can’t post on the resident page because I’m “for profit” is a lot of things. Above all, it’s not surprising for this neighborhood.

~Sometimes, yes! However, as with all Bold Venture trips, we have boots-on-the-ground to make sure we have the inside line on what --and what not--to do.

For the upcoming November trip. a la carte options include everything from learning Mahjong to a Mountaintop Meditation at sunrise (not led by me!).

The 2-3 hr bike tour by Brennan is included. The terrain is tame, the architecture is amazing, and you'll get to know the Old Palm Springs neighborhood by neighborhood!

Old Palm Springs Mid-Mod Yoga Retreat 2026! If you'd like to be poolside with us in this designer villa November 10-17 (7 nights), we need to hear from you now! We have one room w/ two queens (perfect for roomies) and a poolside casita with a King and a sofa bed--potential triple. The rest of the rooms are Kings and Queens.
