I started making soaps when my very sensitive husband could no longer use regular store soap (and B&BW stopped carrying their glycerin soaps!). My soaps are made to be as natural and allergen-free as possible, though substitutions are made when the natural version won't survive the soap-making process. Essentially, saponification (soap-making) is an acid-base reaction, with a strong base, lye, and

the fatty acids in the oils and fats. Not all natural essential oils or simple dyes will "survive" the high pH of the lye or the heat produced by the reaction. If you would prefer color-free or scent-free, that can be arranged. ;)

Walked Juju’s Dino Dash this morning! Jason and I walked the 5K and he walked the whole way in his Dino costume! Raised money for scholarships for NOHS seniors and remembered a little boy that was viciously attacked in a grocery store parking lot two years ago. Robyn received one of the scholarships last year, and is known as their Rock Girl. Absolutely love our community. 🦅🦖
