I started making healing stone necklaces because I knew I wanted to not only showcase their beauty, but bring out the wearers unique, raw & wild inner beauty tha

t the stones reflect. I'm the type of person who likes to do a lot of research on something I find interesting. As I began researching the stone's compelling history, I came to know more about the healing properties of gemstones (crystals). The history goes back thousands of years, back to our roots. Add my favorite musical style Roots Rock Reggae, the feel good, positive vibration music originating from Jamaica, and you've got "roots rocks: healing stone jewelry". Each necklace comes with a history & healing card of the stone, usually with a quote or reference to my favorite book series of all time: Diana Gabaldon's "Outlander" series. Gemstones & standing stones are a big part of the books, hence the tagline: "Come thru the Stones". The background pattern you see behind the roots rocks logo also has personal significance. It is a basket weave design pattern of the Pomo people who are native to my home in Northern California. I infuse my work with the things I love & that have significance to me. Each stone is picked carefully, each name I give to the necklaces has meaning, each one is "Handmade with love- from me & Mama earth!"

As I have evolved so has roots rocks. I now offer vegan health & beauty DIY, oracle card readings & our Goddess Life (made easy) podcast/community.

🌼🧁 I created this cream after trying EVERYTHING to help my son who suffered from eczema from birth until age 3. It hurt my heart that he suffered daily from horrible itching, rashes & trouble sleeping. I even found 1 natural product that was a godsend but after they changed the recipe, it just didn’t work as well. That is when I set out to make my own. In my research I found out about the 3 different types of oils: humectant, emollient & occlusive.

💦humectant = pulls moisture into your skin from the air = jojoba oil

🧴emollient = fills in the gaps between your skin = cacao butter (cocoa butter)

🔒occlusive = sits on top of skin to lock in moisture = shea butter

🌼🧁🧚🏽‍♀️ I used this knowledge to bring you a cream that includes all 3 & works so well my sons eczema is gone. The beauty is you don’t have to have eczema or psoriasis to receive the benefits of this decadent cream.

It’s for everybody. My whipped Buttercup Cream is lightweight enough for your face but strong enough to lock in moisture on your roughest parts.

Goddess unite! 🌺🌸🌼 I created this because I was tired of getting bunk essential oil combinations that just smelled bad, plus remember quality over quantity when it comes to eo. I’m in loooooove with this combo, lmk what u think. Jasmine gives it that super sensual scent, orange comes in to balance the jasmine so it doesn’t overpower & myrrh gives it that earthy grounding that is sooooo yummy! You can also substitute Ylang-ylang for the jasmine. I love them both.

Lavender locs 💜💜💜🌿oh yeah! I use this almost everyday on my locs childrens. This is a super moisturizing locs spray. Plus it’s easy, you know that’s my motto. Hope you enjoy & share. Recipe note: it’s very important to mix the aloe vera and the essential oil together first because it helps the essential oil to solubilize (disperse easily & evenly) then mix with the water so it will all be as one. Whereas if you mix them separately you’re still gonna get separation.

Secret Desires UPDATE 🌸🌺🌼New flowers, new moon, new podcast & a blessed birthday for the great African Queen Empress Menen. What better way to celebrate than with these beautiful flowers my king brought me. He said as he was coming home with them over 10 women asked him if those where for them 🤣 I feel special, I love receiving flowers. So feminine, I often refer to myself as a delicate flower. I just love flowers & especially flowers that smell good (these do). Anyway…In the spring of 2020 I did my second podcast episode "My Secret Desires 2020 & How to Get Yours". I was planning to do a 1 year update, but Covid. So here we are 2 years later & I have some tea for you. 🍊🌿🌼Feeling so blessed to have fruits n veggies n herbs growing in my yard. I was picking these off the tree yesterday feeling the warm sun n giving thx. The yummy smell reminded me of my Spa Mist spray. If you want your bathroom to smell like you’re walking thru an orange blossom grove lavender meadow swipe for recipe.
